Former Icecat Honorary Captain

 .....Rex Allen, Jr. is all the things an entertainer should be today. He has had his own television show on the Nashville Network, "Yesteryear," has been a regular on "The Statler Brothers Show" for seven years, recorded over 50 of the top 50 records and has 17 albums.

 .....In Arizona he is also known as the writer and singer of the state song "I Love You Arizona."

 .....Rex's association with the Icecats began eleven years ago when "Coach" came to "Rex Allen Days" with the Icecat team. After hearing Rex perform the national anthem, Coach decided to make Rex's recording a part of the Icecat home games.

 .....Rex is also on the executive committee of the annual "Leo Golembiewski Celebrity Golf Classic." Rex lives in Las Vegas with his wife Deanna and family.
