Associate Coach Dave Dougall .........Dave was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Tucson with his family in 1979. A CDO graduate (1983), he received his BS degree from the University of Arizona in Operation Management in 1988. .........A member of the Icecat national championship team in 1985, Dave played for Coach G from 1983-1987. He was Icecat rookie if the year in 1984, won best defenseman honors twice (1985-86 and 1986-87) and was elected into the Icecat Hall of Fame in 2001. .........Dave is married to Pilar and they have four children - Cruz, Niko, Joey, and Sienna. |
Strength and Conditioning Coach Tim Vlcek .........Tim has been added to the Icecat coaching staff this season as an assistant coach for strength and conditioning as well as defense and special teams. .........From 1974-1978 Tim played for Coach G at Lyons Township HS (LaGrange, IL). He has been coaching hockey since 1982 from mites to junior levels. He has fulfilled his level 5 requirement and has written a thesis on off ice training and nutrition. Since 1985 he has been the president and owner of Vlcek Fine Meats, Inc. For the past 10 years he has also been a volunteer fireman. An associate member of the Chicago Blackhawk Alumni, Tim played with Coach G in 1994 vs the Icecats in the "Duel in the Desert" - Blackhawk Alumni benefit game for MDA. .........Tim and his wife Pamela have four children - Timothy, Danielle, Kelly, and David. |
