Jim Click

......From his days as a standout center, captain and Scholastic All-American on the Oklahoma State football team to being co-owner (with his cousin, Bob Tuttle) of one of the country's top 50 automotive dealership groups, Jim Click has always been a tough competitor. But, he has also been much more. Philanthropist, family man, athlete, entrepreneur - whether he is driving a race car or a bank (he led Arizona Bank to become the state's largest independent bank), Jim Click never seems to rest until the job is done. His tireless energy is legendary. And when he agrees to get behind something - from a political cause to a charity - you know he will make a huge difference.

......Junior Achievement, Boys & Girls Clubs, Primavera Foundation, Beacon Group, Salpointe. San Miguel High School, The University of Arizona - Jim Click has been honored by them all for his generosity and leadership. But one of his greatest honors came when President Clinton presented him with the President's Award from the Committee of Employment of People with Disabilities. This recognized his founding of Tucson-based Linkages, a non-profit organization that brings together people with disabilities and businesses that can benefit by hiring them. Of course, the Jim Click Automotive Team has been doing exactly that for as long as Jim Click has been a part of Tucson - since 1972.
